There is nothing more exciting than enjoying a sunny afternoon with family and friends. This year, before you heat up the coals for your BBQ make a few simple changes for a healthier meal. Be sure to buy skinless organic chicken breasts from a trusted source. If you did not purchase skinless chicken, be sure to remove the skin before cooking. Most of the calories and fat in chicken hide in the skin. Then boil the chicken for five minutes before heading out to the grill. This will remove toxins from the meat and reduce fat.

You may also consider preparing kale chips rather than potato chips, broccoli slaw rather than regular cole slaw, and quinoa rather than potato salad, for a delicious meal that will leave you energized for the day of festivities!
